Pinch of Light
Looking at the world with a pin hole,
Shining forth on a piece of cardboard;
Gracing stars for the first time.
Holding elegance in my eyes,
Lost in the maze of black sunrays.
Trying to walk it out during the cloudy times,
Blessings fall from the unknown.
Resting in my arms is they home,
Put to the test for seiges of no rest.
Tightness fills up my chest,
Only to push me on to run the other miles.
Keeping my head up and not looking back,
Although I am being sucked into the trap.
Trying to manuever between the road blocks,
For the illusion seems so real.
I can't grace the smell but the feel is real.
Wishing that I could push the ez button,
Be like I am riding with north star.
A road map would be nice,
Only to find out i'm stuck in a strange land.
I don't even know what my eye sees,
All though I could see clearer if I had just a
Pinch of Light.
